Our Commitments
The Unity For Foundation was born of multiple commitments:
• Maximize the amount of capital we are able to raise for any particular cause.
• Maximize all objectively measurable positive impact for all such funds received and deployed to the benefit of targeted population or challenges, and do so for as long as possible post our fundraising concerts
• Maximize the degree of media attention we are able to deliver to natural and manmade challenges, and the degree of compassion and support we are able to deliver to the victims of those challenges
• Do all the above with an eye towards maximizing realized ROI for our donors small and large, and most uniquely
• Do all the above with our most earnest efforts at full transparency – both with respect to the expense of our productions, and with the deployment of funds both autonomously and via third parties willing to share this same commitment to transparency.
In this regard we have developed and are maintaining simple spreadsheets for both our foundation and our initial two beta shows that reflect all costs and expenses to date – both in terms of true expense and in-kind contribution.
We will do the same for all donations we deploy as our first 'commercial' project –
Unity for Japan – generates its initial donations.
Criterion for Selecting Partnerships and Benefactors
As Unity For Foundation moves into commercial operations we taken into consideration the following criterion when deciding which causes, partners and beneficiaries to support:
• Do we resonate with the cause?
• Do we believe we can recruit talent, producers, sponsor agent, media and other key players to resonate with – and deploy on a no-cost or greatly reduced basis - for this cause?
• Does the group inviting us to collaborate have sufficient seed capital to secure venue, initial talent commitments, initial key personnel (e.g., sponsorship, licensing, etc.)?
• Does the group have credible and executable capacity to deploy funds to measurable impact on targeted population or clearly defined challenge.
• Does the group share our commitment to full transparency on both production finance and the post-event deployment of funds raised?
• Is the group fully committed to philanthropy versus self-gain?
• Is the group committed to clear communications and harmonious collaboration?
We look forward to meeting you.
